Raised in Limsa Lominsa after being found left for dead, Raine would find home with his adoptive father the old summoner who found and saved him. During his younger years, books were his only friend, he studied dutifully to become a scholar. His only real breaks were the fishing trips he took with the man he called father. He only broke out of his shell after getting told to socialize more and work less by a friend, taking that as a challenge he started working as a host to socialize.
